Kailua Sailboats and Kayaks offer rentals for stand-up paddle boards, kayaking, snorkeling, and biking nearby the beautiful Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach. Oahu’s Kailua Beach and Lanikai Beach have been voted best in the U.S. for swimming, walking, kayaking, stand up paddling, boogie boarding, snorkeling and a number of other water sports. We are also Hawaii’s Leader in professional kayak tours.


KSK’s Sustainability Plan is excellent and very thorough, matching the outline of HEA’s STCP. You also did a fantastic job providing supplementary materials.

Offshore Island Wildlife Sanctuary Restoration Projects; has provided large scale service to over 35 service trips since 2012.

“Eco Nights,” a partnership with non-profits to host an ongoing series of expert speakers, movies, and activities related to sustainability and resource preservation.

Development of the Kailua Bay Learning Center, an educational facility used to teach preservation to Kailua Bay Visitors. Facilities are often used by community groups free of charge.

Developed Micro Plastic Challenge: unique sifting kits that anyone may borrow to sift beach debris… bring back debris to receive a gift card!

KSK banned the plastic shopping bag over a year ago! (2012)

KSK switched from single use bottles to complementary reusable bottles on many of our tours.

Staff possess Ocean Awareness Training certifications.

KSK has been trained by Hawaiian Monk Seal Response Team Oahu to respond to endangered Monk Seal haul outs.

KSK aids NOAA pacific fisheries by reporting Monk Seal photos and data.

NUMEROUS beach cleanup participation, KSK has moved hundreds of lbs of debris away from Kailua Bay.

KSK staff and guides train customers to pick up debris on every tour. Debris is on display in the Eco Lounge.

KSK hires employees who are passionate about preservation and who have experience in ecological fields to share with our customers and the community.
