MAUI DREAMS DIVE COMPANY CERTIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS

Excellent interpretation during the tour! The pre-dive briefing hit all the key points (safety, education, and conservation). Excellent that you have the fish card on hand at the dive site for divers to view. Great job of utilizing dry erase board underwater to ID basic fish for divers. Reef etiquette steps (no touching coral, etc.) displayed on front window and reiterated before and during dive.

Instructor discussed the uniqueness of Maui’s reef systems. Continue to integrate similar information into tours that help establish a sense of place – including place names, any special information/history about the area, etc.

Instructor carefully described proper reef etiquette, and ensured that new divers (if struggling with buoyancy) remained over sand and rubble. Took time to explain safety and practiced essential skills on land and again in shallow water before dive started.
